ABOUT US

who we are

At the Pocket Media Group we believe in story. It’s in our DNA. Whether it’s a photograph, a video, a design or three words in a tag-line, stories deliver. They communicate. They connect. And that’s the point, right? To have your message heard. Let’s talk.

Founder and Creative Director Doug Sadler is an award-winning independent filmmaker (Best New American Film Seattle Int’l Film Festival; Best Director & Best Feature Film Savannah Int’l Film Festival; Best American Film Festroia Int’l Film Festival Spain; Humanitas Award Finalist) and alumnae of the Sundance Institute’s Feature Filmmaking program whose films have shown at festivals worldwide, in US theaters and on the Sundance Channel and Netflix. He has taught narrative filmmaking at Johns Hopkins University and was a filmmaker-in-residence at MICA / Johns Hopkins’ MFA Film program, where he mentored filmmakers and taught directing and narrative film. Educated at Vanderbilt University and the American Film Institute, he specializes in discovering the story behind a mission and crafting creative ways to communicate the complex.

SERVICES

what we do.

Branding • Strategy • Video • Photography • Design • Writing • Animation

It’s simple. You have a story – a project, a message, a mission. Maybe you know exactly what it is and exactly what you want to say. Or maybe it’s hidden under piles of to-do lists. Whatever the case, we help you see it and tell it so it connects. We listen, we ask questions, we share ideas, we refine what you want to say and who you want to reach. And then we deliver, with boldness and creativity. Whatever the medium, whatever the audience, we connect you to the people you most want to reach.
